You are curious...
When we exchanged business cards, I gave you four colours to choose from and you asked:
“What does this colour say about me?”
Naturally, your brain is searching for meaning
“Does yellow mean I’m a happy person?”
“Should I go for purple because it’s my favourite colour?”
“Do most people go for blue?”
“What does red say about my personality type?”
It’s not about the colour
You interpret your colour in a way that’s relevant to you. Whilst this may be interesting, there is a bigger point here.
It’s about having choices
When you look at the big picture, you start to see different perspectives on a problem. You now have a range of mindsets to choose from – you are no longer stuck on autopilot. Some perspectives serve you better than others. The key is to choose the one that resonates most.
Putting yourself in a position of choice is both liberating and empowering. This is a big part of the work I do with Changemakers.
Curious about what this means for you?
